Return and Refund Policy
A charger that arrives with a damaged plug, a multi-unit bundle missing one of its units, and a wireless charging stand that does not work with a particular device can raise very different questions. LUMIVOGEAR reviews return and refund requests in light of the actual product, the confirmed order, the reported issue, and applicable consumer protections.
This page explains what information helps us review requests and how concerns involving physical condition, compatibility, accessories, and delivery discrepancies are approached. It does not set an invented universal return deadline or promise the same resolution for every situation.
If a charger has a cracked housing, exposed metal or wiring, a scorched connector, an unusual smell, or signs of overheating, disconnect it and do not continue testing it. Report the issue without attempting repairs.
Start with the Order Details
Before requesting a return, find the order number, product name, quantity, and selected configuration. A 65W three-port adapter, a magnetic wireless car charger, and a desktop charging station may have different characteristics even when they appear in the same order.
For a bundle, compare the received number of units with the package quantity shown on the confirmed purchase. If a charging cable or accessory appears missing, check whether it was actually listed as part of the purchase.
Having these details ready helps distinguish a fulfillment discrepancy from an assumption about what a product should include.
Contact Us Before Sending a Product
Email [email protected] with your order reference, the item concerned, and a clear explanation of the issue. Include photos where useful: for example, the shipping label, product packaging, visible damage, or all units received in an incomplete pack.
If the issue concerns charging performance, describe the connected device, cable, relevant port, and what happens when the accessory is used. We may ask targeted follow-up questions to understand the problem.
Please do not send products to an address found independently online. Contact support first for any return destination, shipping method, or handling instructions appropriate to the request.
Items Arriving Damaged
Damage can occur to the outer parcel without necessarily affecting the electronic item inside, or it can affect the device itself. Photographs of the box, protective packaging, connectors, housing, and any visible defect help document the condition on arrival.
Do not plug in an item that appears electrically unsafe, and do not try to open the casing or straighten a badly damaged plug. We can review a description and images before advising on further steps.
Potential remedies for goods that arrive damaged will be considered according to the circumstances and applicable legal requirements, and may differ from optional returns of undamaged goods.
A Charger That Seems Not to Work
Not every unexpected charging result indicates a faulty product. A device may limit input power, a cable may not support a particular protocol, or power may be divided across multiple ports when several devices are connected.
For USB-C and GaN chargers, useful information may include the device model, cable type, selected output port, and whether the issue occurs with one or more compatible devices. For wireless accessories, alignment, case thickness, and support for the relevant charging standard may matter.
We may suggest basic checks that do not require opening, modifying, or using a damaged product. Diagnostic questions are intended to clarify the issue, not to impose an unreasonable obstacle to a valid remedy.
Compatibility Expectations and Product Descriptions
Charging devices are not universally interchangeable. A USB-C connector does not mean every laptop accepts the same input, and a magnetic mount is not necessarily equivalent to a supported wireless charging profile.
Customers are encouraged to review published compatibility and output details before buying. If the delivered item does not meet a specific statement made in its listing, explain which description appears inconsistent with your experience.
Where an accessory is operating according to its disclosed specifications but is unsuitable for a customer’s particular setup, eligibility for a discretionary return may differ from rights relating to misdescribed or defective goods.
Multi-Unit Bundles and Missing Pieces
Some LUMIVOGEAR charging products are supplied in multi-packs. The relevant check is the quantity stated in the selected listing and confirmed order, not the number a customer might expect from an individual product photograph.
If you purchased a pack and received fewer units, photograph the received contents and packaging and provide the order number. We may review the packing record, split-shipment information, and other available details.
Depending on the findings, an appropriate resolution might involve delivery of the missing units, replacement, a price adjustment, or another remedy consistent with applicable obligations.
Incorrect Product or Configuration
Please report a wrong wattage, port arrangement, plug format, color, quantity, or different product model as soon as you discover the discrepancy. Include a photo of the item label and the order confirmation if available.
An incorrectly supplied item is different from a change-of-mind request. We will assess the item against the confirmed purchase rather than expecting the customer to accept a substitute without agreement.
For products that have closely related configurations, avoid connecting an item that appears inappropriate for your device until the mismatch has been clarified.
Eligibility for an Optional Return
Where an item is not defective or misdescribed and the request is based on preference or changed needs, the available return options may depend on the product condition, whether it has been used, the completeness of all components, and the relevant purchase circumstances.
Original packaging, labels, and any supplied accessories may be important because electronic products need to be assessed for completeness and safe handling. Do not assume that opening a package automatically defeats any statutory right; the rules that apply depend on the situation and jurisdiction.
We have not stated a universal discretionary return window here. Contact support to confirm what is available for your order and location, without prejudice to rights provided by law.
Cases Requiring Special Review
Requests involving modified electronics, damaged connectors, missing main components, signs of misuse, or products handled in a way that creates a safety concern may require additional assessment.
Items that cannot be safely examined or resold may not qualify for the same discretionary arrangements as complete, undamaged products. However, a product with an original defect or a valid statutory claim will be reviewed under the applicable rules regardless of ordinary resale considerations.
Do not attempt repairs or alteration simply to demonstrate that a charger is defective. A clear explanation and relevant photographs are a better starting point.
Return Packaging and Transport
If a return is arranged, package charging equipment to protect the casing, plugs, connectors, and built-in cables from movement. Include the components requested in the return instructions and avoid placing loose metal objects against charging contacts.
The shipping method and destination must be confirmed for the particular request. Some carriers or destinations apply special conditions to electronic equipment, and the chosen return service should comply with those conditions.
Retain the shipping reference and any proof of posting where a return parcel is sent. These records help trace the item if transit is delayed or disputed.
Who Pays for Return Shipping
Return shipping responsibility depends on why the item is being returned, the checkout terms applicable to the order, and relevant consumer law. It may be handled differently for a change of mind than for goods supplied incorrectly or found defective.
We will explain any applicable instructions and charges before an agreed return is dispatched where possible. Customers should not assume that all return shipping is free or that all costs are automatically theirs to bear.
Non-excludable legal rights remain in effect even where a discretionary arrangement would normally carry conditions.
How Refunds Are Assessed
After the relevant information and, where needed, the returned product have been reviewed, the outcome may be a refund, replacement, exchange, missing-item resolution, or another appropriate remedy. The nature of the concern and legal requirements guide that decision.
Where a refund is due, the amount is determined by the transaction and the issue being resolved. A bundle purchased for one total price may require a different assessment from a single separately priced charger.
If return shipping or other adjustments are relevant, their treatment will be explained in accordance with the circumstances and applicable law.
Partial Refunds for Specific Issues
A partial refund may be relevant when a customer wishes to keep an item despite an agreed minor discrepancy, or when a bundle has a confirmed shortfall that can reasonably be resolved through a price adjustment.
A partial refund should not be assumed to be the default remedy for a faulty or materially misdescribed charging device. Other remedies may be more appropriate, and the customer’s statutory entitlements remain relevant.
Any agreed adjustment will be explained with reference to the actual product and original payment.
Refund Payment and Processing
When a refund is approved, it will generally be directed to the original payment method where possible and appropriate. The payment provider and receiving bank control some of the time between a refund being initiated and the credit appearing.
If you are checking on a refund, first review the transaction history for the original payment method. If the credit is not visible after the processing information supplied to you, contact us with the order number and any refund reference.
We will not ask you to provide a complete card number, banking password, or one-time verification code in order to investigate an ordinary refund.
Exchanges and Alternative Specifications
If a customer wants a different charging configuration, availability and compatibility need to be checked. Moving from a compact wall charger to a multi-port desktop model, or from a wired adapter to a wireless charger, may involve a different price or specification.
We can review whether an exchange is appropriate, what products are available, and whether a return is needed first. Shipping costs or price differences, if applicable, should be clear before proceeding.
An exchange should not be used to replace a statutory remedy with less favorable terms.
Promotional Purchases and Gifts
A discount or promotional price does not remove applicable rights concerning faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied goods. Refund calculations generally need to reflect the amount paid and the reason for the adjustment.
For a gift purchase, order details may be required to verify the transaction. Refund routing can depend on the original payer and payment method, so a gift recipient may not be able to receive funds in a different account automatically.
Contact support to discuss the practical options without sending unnecessary payment information.
Cancellation Before Dispatch
If you ordered the wrong charger, bundle quantity, or destination, contact us as soon as you notice the error. We can review whether cancellation or correction is possible while the order is still in preparation.
After the shipment has been handed to a carrier, an immediate change may no longer be feasible. In that case, the appropriate next step may involve delivery investigation or a return process, subject to relevant rights and circumstances.
An order modification request is not confirmed until the change has been acknowledged in the order record or by the support team.
Keeping the Review Clear
When submitting evidence, include only information relevant to the item: product labels, damage, package quantity, or visible charging behavior. Avoid sending passwords, personal files shown on a device screen, or full payment card details.
Photos and service correspondence may be retained where needed to resolve the claim, document the transaction, and address related questions in accordance with the privacy notice and applicable requirements.
Clear communication makes it easier to determine whether the concern relates to shipping, package contents, compatibility, or product condition.
